Membership has its privileges at MEA Federal Credit Union! As a member, you are an owner; you are entitled to vote at our annual meeting to elect the Directors to serve you. Our not-for-profit democratic structure gives you control over your finances and saves you money. Once you have joined you will be able to enjoy the services provided by MEA.

Joining MEA Federal Credit Union is easy. If you are an employee or retiree of the Muscogee County School District, Columbus Technical College, Phenix City Public Schools, Russell County School District, Harris County School System, Fort Benning Schools, Calvary Christian School, Columbus State University, University of Phoenix , Troup County School System, St. Patrick's School, Mother Mary Mission School, St. Luke School, St. Anne School, Pacelli High School, Smiths Station Schools, Chattahoochee County Schools, Beacon University, Springer Academy and Marion County School System, you and your family members (spouses, children, brothers, sisters, parents, and grandparents) may join!

If you are currently employed by any other public or private school in the Columbus, GA / Phenix City, AL bi-city area you may be eligible for MEA Federal Credit Union benefits and services. Contact MEA for specific details on how to JOIN at 706.563.5002.

Once you're a member, you're always a member -- even if you change jobs or move away. Only one transaction per year and a minimum savings balance of $15 is required to keep your account active.
