We have recently been notified of a scam in our community involving telephone calls from a person or persons claiming to be from 'Your Credit Union' in an effort to trick people into inadvertently giving out vital information. We at MEA would like to take this opportunity to remind our members that neither we, nor any other legitimate financial institution, will ever contact you by phone, email, or cellular text message to request your personal or account information. If you happen to receive communications requesting such information from anyone claiming to be an employee of MEA, please contact us immediately. As always, we want to ensure that your money stays safe here at MEA.
